Membership Information
We are always looking for new members to join our organization. We do have some requirements, as do most good clubs. We ask that you have a member in good standing sponsor your application. We have several workdays to help get the camp and range ready for the three events that we hold each year and ask that you help out on at least two occasions. It would be nice if you could volunteer a couple of extra days to help with those chores. Of course, if you choose to be more active in the preparation & event coordination stages, that would be really appreciated by our present membership. And lastly we have a monthly meeting on the second Saturday of each month and ask that you make at least three of the meetings each year. What does all this get me, you ask. Club members have a vote on all club matters. Club members can also hold one of the seven officer positions within the club. We have an annual election each December. Generally we throw a Christmas Party some time in December. They can attend both Rendezvous with no camping charge. The shooting fees are also waived, but you must still provide a blanket prize. A membership card is provided as well. But if you were to ask any of our present members what they like about it the most, you'd hear things like "Camaraderie", "Club pride" and "Good people".
As mentioned on our home page, we are a family oriented club. However, we do offer both "Family" ($30.00) and "Single" ($20.00) type annual memberships. We are looking for people that like to have fun and enjoy both history and teaching what they have learned to others that may be interested in our time period (pre-1840's). We feel that it's important to pass along things that we have learned to the next generation of "Mountain Men".
